Bark (kaarna in Finnish) protects the tree
"Nature's soft tones and different lines, rhythms and shapes make me take pictures," says photographer Anna Wallendahr about the sources of inspiration for her photos. The function of the bark is to protect the tree from damage, diseases and forest fires. Because of its lightness, bark has traditionally been used to make bark boats for children.
Kaarna is part of Anna's
Look close photo series, where she wants to wake people up to take a closer look. The greatest beauty can be found in small details.
SUO acoustics artworks are printed on ecological acoustic boards made in Finland. You can choose the material between two options: Konto acoustic boards with Finnish peat material or Vaimee Based panels made from recycled drinking bottles.
Konto acoustic board has a natural and lively feeling. The image is repeated on the board a little softer and the colour is paler, but very beautiful and artistic. The surface of the plate is relatively soft, so it can’t be handled hard.
Vaimee Based is an acoustic panel with an uniform quality surface. It ensures the sharpness of the printed image and high-quality colour preservation. The surface of the plate is very durable.
The photo of the acoustic board was taken by Anna Wallendahr, whose atmospheric pictures have been popular subjects of our acoustic boards for many years. We recommend you to check out all of Anna's beautiful pictures in our selection!
