KONTO ACOUSTIC PANEL BRINGS PEACE OF NATURE INTO INTERIOrs

Good acoustics are an important part of coziness in interiors. In a reverberant space, the human mind is exposed to unnecessary stress, which can be avoided by improving the sound dampening of the spaces. A good way to do this is to install acoustic panels on wall or ceiling surfaces. Acoustic boards made from Finnish peat are a proven health-promoting and natural way to improve acoustics. The peat board is mold-proof and its sound absorption capacity is top class. Thanks to its lightness, it is easy to handle. The Konto acoustic panel is also resistant to cutting, so it can be modified to suit any space.

Peat acoustic board has a naturally beautiful and lively surface, so it brings nice liveliness to interiors. You can create an effect wall of one color or combine different colored plates to create the effect you want. The boards are available in three different thicknesses. There are 5 color options, but the board is also available untreated with natural brown colour. Due to the natural source of the material, Konto acoustic boards may vary in smoothness and color tones.

Surface treatment of Konto acoustic board 

Konto acoustic panels are painted with M1-classified paint. Before painting from four different directions, the turf board is brushed and blown with air. The back of the plates is not painted. The painting is done only once, which guarantees that the acoustic properties of the product will be preserved. 

Dimensioning the Konto acoustic boards in the space 

You can estimate the number of acoustic panels needed based on the height of the space. If the height of the room is more than 250 cm,  the needed area of acoustic material is half of the room area. Installing the Konto acoustic board

The acoustic panels can be installed on the wall or ceiling. Mounting glue or double-sided tape is usually used for installation. Installation is also possible with screws or nails. Read more about the installation instructions here.
