KONTO takes its responsibility in environmental matters

Konto is a Finnish acoustic company whose production takes place in Finland. The company's important values are naturalness, high quality, and the healthiness and innovation of the products. Konto Acoustic panels are made from the surface peat of a Finnish bog in local production. In Konto's hometown of Karvia, the word "konto" means peat. Surface peat is a renewable, recyclable and safe natural fiber. Konto uses the surface peat produced during peat removal as a material for acoustic panels. VAIMEE uses recycled plastic as a material

Vaimee Based sheets are made in Finland from recycled polyester (PET). At least half of the material comes from recycled drinking bottles. As a simple polymer, the production of Polyester consumes little energy. The acoustic board is durable, but if it has to be disposed, they can be recycled into new plastic products or used as energy waste. Vaimee Based Acoustic panels are inspired by Finnish nature, forests and fells, where the sound world is perfect. Vaimee wants to bring the same sound world to interiors around the world.
